How to read the BGB price on this page
This page compares the live Bitget Token (BGB) price across six exchanges—Upbit, Bithumb, Binance, Bybit, Bitget and OKX—on one screen. The price card shows the Korean and global averages side by side, and the exchange table breaks out each venue's price and its gap versus the global benchmark. Prices refresh every second. A positive kimchi premium means BGB trades higher on Korean exchanges; a negative value (sometimes called a "reverse premium") means it trades lower.
What is the BGB kimchi premium?
The kimchi premium is the percentage difference between BGB's price on Korean exchanges and its price on global exchanges, converted at the live USD/KRW rate. For example, if the average Korean price of BGB is 2% higher than the average global price after conversion, the BGB kimchi premium is 2%. Coinyong recalculates this every second using the live exchange rate. Sharp moves in the premium can reflect changes in Korean market demand and liquidity—a widening premium can indicate stronger buying pressure on Korean exchanges, while a shrinking or negative premium can indicate that the local price gap is fading.
Why compare BGB prices across exchanges?
Even for the same coin, prices differ slightly between exchanges because liquidity, order flow and the timing of currency conversion all differ. In practice, arbitrage is difficult because moving funds between Korean and overseas exchanges can involve regulatory requirements, exchange restrictions, banking and transfer constraints, fees, and timing risk—which can help explain why the premium can persist. For most readers, the premium is more useful as a sentiment gauge than as a trading signal: the size of the gap, together with volume, shows where the market is leaning right now.

Reading BGB in context
Altcoins like BGB tend to track Bitcoin until they suddenly develop momentum of their own. Rising volume while Bitcoin dominance falls can be interpreted as a sign of capital rotating into altcoins. When judging BGB's short-term direction, Bitcoin dominance and the broader market are useful context alongside this page's data.
