Hyperliquid Whale Positions Live - Top Trader Rankings by Cumulative PnL and Current Positions
What are whale positions?
Whales are traders operating at unusually large size. This page ranks the largest traders on Hyperliquid — the on-chain perpetuals exchange — by cumulative PnL, and shows what each one holds right now: coin, direction, leverage and unrealized PnL, updated in real time.
What is Hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid is a perpetual futures exchange that runs on its own blockchain, offering centralized-exchange-style trading while recording trading activity and account state on-chain. It has attracted substantial derivatives activity and become a prominent venue for publicly trackable trader positioning.
Why Hyperliquid data?
On centralized exchanges, trader positions are mostly private or estimated. Hyperliquid's account data is public, so a wallet's positions, entry prices, liquidation prices and PnL come from public records, not inferences — a tracked wallet's current long or short direction is directly observable.
Keeping the PnL ranking honest
Simple profit leaderboards have a known flaw: deposits and transfers can get counted as profit, putting wallets that barely trade at the top. This ranking shows 30-day trading volume alongside PnL, flags wallets whose PnL is large despite near-zero lifetime trading volume as likely deposit-driven (grayed out and excluded from the ranking), and reports unrealized PnL separately from realized profit.
Reading the list
When a trader holds multiple positions, the list shows the single largest position by notional value (plus a count of the rest). The full per-coin breakdown is available in the by-position view, sorted by notional size.

Caveats
- A wallet may hold offsetting positions elsewhere (another exchange or wallet), so the visible direction may not reflect the person's total market exposure.
- Large traders can also be wrong — many carry losing positions.
- Broad agreement across multiple whales is generally a more informative read than any single wallet's direction.
